My cats

These are my current cats. Since these cats are from Mexico just like me, their given names make more sense in Spanish so translating them to English might be a little harder than it looks like.

Nito

Nito is just a slightly fluffy and average-size male black cat, born likely at the end of March 2022 and adopted in May 30, 2022. It was given to me by a family who had a litter of kittens, they noticed I liked the only black one and let me have it.

It likes being pet but also bites you if you pet it wrong, so be ready to yank your hand out if you notice anything weird. It has an habit of stealing stuff from table or from my other cat. It is somewhat vocal, it meows a lot when it feels alone or when it feels sick. It is also pretty dominant, it wants things done its way. It rarely scratches us, it's more of a toothy little guy who will just nip you if it feels a little angry.

Its name is just the word negrito (little black one) shortened into two syllables. Sometimes we lazy out and call it Ni, only the first syllable, and it also appears to respond better this way.

Blanqui

Blanqui is a big male white cat (well mostly white), born likely at the end of July 2023 and adopted in September 29, 2023. Dad found it on the streets, it was skinny and meowing for food, dad gave it chicken and it just sticked around never to leave.

It is extremely easygoing, it doesn't like being pet but doesn't ever bite you or get angry no matter what you get wrong, when it feels annoyed it just moves like a meter away and then lies down again. It is somewhat silent except during meal time, it just stares at you as if trying to figure out what you're doing and, like Nito, it likes stealing stuff. It is fairly submissive and enjoys playing with Nito (but Nito doesn't always see it this way). So far we've never see it get angry at us, but it has scared stray cats and dogs away so we know it can get angry.

Its name is just the word blanquito (little white one) but with its last syllable removed.

(Yes, we are not that creative with the names, they just directly reference their fur color)
